According to the Dallas Business Journal, Megatel Homes must be feelin’ themselves as we head into the 4th quarter, cuz they are making major, impressive and expensive real estate moves all across the Dallas Ft. Worth area. In one report, the journal is saying that the home builder is planning a monster water lagoon oasis with a surfing simulator, splash park and a few family friendly amenities.

This nearly $1 billion Bellagio Lagoon project is planned for the fast growing eastern Dallas suburb of Forney, and will have a sexy adult lounge along with a restaurant and bar. The first phase should be ready by Spring 2022, which is just several months from now, with the fresh water lagoon in place by mid Summer the same year. With that fast approaching timeline, these guys ain’t playin! No wonder it’s already 60% sold out.
We did a video back in Spring about a similar water oasis not far from this one in Rowlett/Rockwall, also east of Dallas. For those who are new to the Dallas area, get ready for some fun times.
