Looks like some major congratulations are in order for one of the core parts of our 50Plano Hot Zone: Frisco, TX! Time/Money Magazine has named it the best place to live in the nation. Read the whole article to see how the venerable magazine just gave Frisco some more reasons to get a big head (and much deserved). What’s there not to like?! The place is lit! From all the action in the upscale playground called The Star, next to the world headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys, to all the lively action in and around downtown Frisco, and all the room for mo’ and mo’ big azz mansions (and baby mansions)…so much to describe!

The only thing we disagree with is Money Magazine calling Frisco a ” sleepy bedroom community.” Not sure if they were referring to 1990 or 2018, but we invite the writers to look at Frisco in the context of what we’ve been calling the 50Plano Hot Zone: northwest Plano, south Frisco, and east The Colony. This area, within a 3 mile radius of the intersection of Dallas Tollway and 1212 Sam Rayburn Tollway, is nicknamed “billionaire’s row” and is home to some very lively, lit night life and live music rivaling any similar posh, upscale suburb in the country. Frisco is a big part of that, so “sleepy” is not exactly accurate for the whole city, maybe just the far northern tip, lol.
But we’re glad to have been journaling the rise of Frisco as a jet set destination for those moving to this ultra modern part of North Texas/North Dallas since 2015.
