The luxurious lifestyles of the Kardashians. Where can I start? If you’ve seen our recent upscale updates, one of the Kardash chicks have been in them. This time, it’s queen Kim. Not to be outdone by her sister Kylie, she took her October 21st birthday to a whole new level with a $1 million price tag that included arguably the most luxurious business jet in the world, plus a whirlwind stay at the most swank Tahiti island, The Brando. Can you say “Tahiti” sweetie? This far away island, named after the late, legendary Hollywood actor Marlon Brando, has those Instagram worthy white sandy beaches, immaculate swirls of turquoise and crystal clear blue waters, surrounding a group of some 35 luxurious villas. When you book a 2 or 3 room villa in these stomping grounds, you can’t just cancel any old time. You’re locked in once you hit 60 days prior to your arrival date.
And that’s just half the story…
The jet Kim hired like a boss is labelled the “Crystal AirCruises Experience,” pushin’ an 88 seat, whopping Boeing 777 monster jet, with its on board restaurant setup and posh, plush accommodations for each guest, all the way to the exotic a French Polynesian private party for less than 30 people, according to Page 6. The jet’s website says the Crystal Skye has a social stand up bar, as if you’re ready to pre-party before the after party. It even has a team of sky butlers to accompany the specially prepared international cuisine by a well-appointed Executive Chef.
Just look at that jet and the island…oooh ooh ooh ooh, baybay! That’s how you do a 40th birthday!
Switching jet gears, one of my fave Vegas hotels, the Venetian, is re-opening its exclusive Prestige Club Lounge, starting November 19. If you book the Prestige way, indulge in all the amenities of the Palazzo Luxury King Suite, including pampered private check in, bypassing any boring front desk delays. For two nights Thanksgiving weekend is about $400, so not bad if you’re a stingy millionaire. And some breaking news for the Venetian: TripAdvisor just came out with its list of the top 25 most saved hotels online, and the Venetian took that number one spot. Congrats to them. Makes me wanna book that big boss suite right now.
In luxury brand news, Tiffany and Co settled its dispute with the luxury conglomerate LVMH, which owns Louis Vuitton and Rihanna’s Fenty brand. The final price tag, $15.8 billion, is $425 mill less than it was last month, before billionaire Bernard Arnault pulled out of the deal due to a potential Trump-led US trade war with France.
Finally, some motivation as we show more pics from Tahiti. Given the incredible obstacles thrown our way this year, it can seem like some goals, we had planned at the beginning of the year, can’t happen now. But like legendary actress Audrey Hepburn once said, ‘nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible.” Don’t let the impossibilities of 2020 be the death of your 2021 possibilities, my friend…
